We are proud to offer scholarships to support members of KOA in their academic, professional, and leadership journeys. Funding is available annually, with the goal of expanding opportunities for members across all chapters.

Knowledge Scholarship

Supports academic success by helping cover education-related expenses.

Eligibility: Active KOA Members

Covers costs such as:

  • Textbooks

  • Lab fees

  • Required academic resources (e.g., journals, newspapers)

Award details: Multiple recipients may be selected based on available funding.

Opportunity Scholarship

Invests in professional growth and career development opportunities.

Eligibility:  Active KOA members

Covers costs such as:

  • Internship-related travel costs

  • Graduate school test fees (e.g., GRE, LSAT)

  • Conferences and seminars (outside of KOA)

Award details:  Multiple recipients may be selected based on available funding.

Spirit of KOA Scholarship

Recognizes outstanding graduating members who exemplify KOA’s core values: Knowledge, Opportunity, and Advocacy.

Eligibility: KOA members graduating in the current calendar year

Selection process: Each chapter nominates one member. One overall recipient is selected from all nominees.

Award details:

  • Chapter nominees receive $100

  • One overall winner receives $300 and complimentary lifetime alumni membership
